Just a few words
about the Browns, Fred and Rose. We love Miniature Pinschers.
We started with our first Min Pin in 1989 when our first, Cody, was
given to us as a gift. Since then, we have educated ourselves
with the bred. As we love these little guys so much, we
decided to start breeding and showing and sharing with others our
family of Min Pins.
We moved back to
Kansas 3 years ago from the Arizona/New Mexico area and continued on
with our breeding. We are now known as Redbarns and in the
next few pages we will be sharing with all of you what we have to
offer.
First off, just in
case you are wondering where the Redbarns came from, we purchased an
old dairy barn and converted in into our home. It took over a
year to do, but we now have plenty of kennel room along with plenty
of "people" space also.
Our dogs live in
A/C and heated 1000 sq. ft of kennel space, along with what they can
get away with in our home. Two of them sleep with us at night,
and the rest of them bed down next to our bedroom in their own
crates and their own bedroom. None of them leave our sides for
very long. They are part of our family and are not just for
show.
Our goal is to keep
the standards of the Miniature Pinschers by breeding in the correct
way and not just for the 'sale' of the puppies. We limit our
breeding to no more than two litters per year. Most of the
time we have the puppies pre-sold. However, first and foremost
we want them to go to "show homes". If they go into a "pet"
home, then they are sold on a "spay or neuter" contract.
We have been known
to finish a bitch or dog to his or her championship and place them
in "pet homes". They make great companions and are well
trained at that point and are a great asset to their new parents.
